My Purpose as a Shamanic Practitioner
Tina Bishai – After studying a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto, my career first took me on a path of becoming a Physiotherapist. Later studying for a Master of Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University, I decided to pursue career opportunities in management. I worked as a Chief Operating Officer, leading a healthcare division for a publicly-traded company, with over 1100 employees.
With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, my love for Complementary and Alternative Medicine has now led me to a path where I provide shamanic healing for people that wish to live to their fullest potential by healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Through this journey, I have come to a place where I am practicing my passion. When I provide shamanic healing, I find myself working from the heart, from compassion and love – in essence, pure joy. My purpose is to help you and your family heal from whatever it is you are searching for healing, so that you too may live with pure joy and health.
As a mother of two young children, my passion lies with children, especially those with autism and attention deficit disorder.
I feel that shamanic healing can help to remove symptoms of these disorders that make everyday life so much more difficult. If you have not yet seen the documentary movie, “The Horse Boy”, and have a child who is on the spectrum, I encourage you to watch it. Here you will observe a boy who struggles with tantrums, incontinence, and disassociation under the diagnosis of autism. He is then transformed before your eyes through shamanic healing and his connection to horses, where he can live life to its fullest, without the symptoms that were so debilitating to him before he visited the shaman.
I believe that children with autism are perfect in their creation and that they have come to this world with autism for a reason, to show us the way of the future. But some may need help to decrease their symptoms to fully realize their life’s mission.
Whether you are an adult or adolescent, regardless of the reason you are searching for healing, my hope for you and your family is that you may live life fully while experiencing physical, emotional, and spiritual harmony. I welcome the opportunity to work with you to help facilitate your healing.
